The following is a research essay written for my UC 145 course, which is an introductory course on international studies. In the essay, I was to compare one of the original countries to join the European Union (France) with one that joined the European Union after 1990 (Sweden). In comparing, I tried to argue that, although the countries are very different in demographic and current state, they face many of the same challenges and share very similar responses to those challenges. 

 The following is a portion of the final deliverable I compiled based on my semester of market research performed for our client. Throughout the report, I strove to be professional and informative. It was very important to be careful with my wording in the writing of the recommendations to support the current practices of my client while suggesting ways to improve their performance in the market.
